Free SMS Gateway is built to need as little of your data as possible. This page explains what that means in practice.

No accounts, no forms
You can read every guide and use every tool without signing up. The site has no contact forms and no newsletter sign-up.
Tools run in your browser
Everything you type or paste into a tool is processed inside your browser tab. It is not sent to our servers or anyone else, and the tools do not store it. Some tools can keep non-sensitive settings in the page address (after the #) so you can bookmark a result; tools that handle tokens, secrets or payloads never do.
What our servers see
Like any website, our servers receive technical information with each request — your IP address, the page requested, your browser's user agent and the time. We use it to keep the service running and secure (for example to block abuse). Application access logs rotate automatically and are kept for a short time (5 files of up to 50 MB each per container). A small security audit log of sensitive actions (such as an admin sign-in or an access denial) is append-only and is kept indefinitely, because that is what lets us detect and investigate abuse after the fact; it is never used for marketing. Traffic passes through Cloudflare, which protects and delivers the site and sets its own security cookies (for example __cf_bm and cf_clearance) to tell human visitors apart from bots — we do not control those cookies and they are not used to track you across other sites.
Cookies and local storage
We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. If you pick a light or dark theme, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply and to fix what you reported.
